So what makes Tuesday’s so special? Welcoming a new day allows us to look back over the start of a new week. Mondays can bring surprises into our lives. They can be received good, bad, or indifferent. But Tuesdays give us a chance to consider a different perspective on matters. For me, on the second day of the workweek, I turn things around in my mind to see if a different way of handling matters presents itself. I also return to prayer and seek more of God’s in-depth wisdom. The thought is---perhaps I missed a step, or perspective, or have not moved on God’s leading.
One thing to carry close to your heart is that all the days of the week are designed and created by God. They each are a blessing given by the Father. Daily we can greet each new morning with “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” The comfort of each day is not that it is new, but that we are being made new—day by day. The precious wonder of the day is that we are being changed. What a mighty God we serve.
On rough
days I remember that nothing happens to us by accident. God loves us and allows
various things to occur in our lives for our perfection and to shape us into
the image of Jesus. Pray with me for your life: Lord shape me, mold me, after
your will. I seek to know you and do your will. Please let me be a vessel of
honor. Amen
